Yesterday, our little boy ferret had to be put down. I took him to the vet to get some lethargy check out and what we thought was swallowed foreign object that had perforated his intestine, was actually a whole lot of cancer and lymphoma. Frank would not have mad it into the night in his condition, but didn't suffer at all through his life. He was just one of those predisposed ferrets who would become a tumor machine. We loved that tumor machine so so very much. He still had a place in all of our hearts. Rest in peace Franky boy. Yesterday was a hard day.
