It's been a while
Hello there!
First off, I'll start this like I start so many messages, both public and private, by apologizing: I have neglected this archive. It is far from up to date. I'm not apologizing for all the things I've been doing instead, but for not taking the time to log them into this system.
I mostly use instagram these days(@alisonannwoodward)
I've been having shows, working at The Fall Tattooing
And, finally, graduating with a BFA from Emily Carr Univerity. Here is my grad piece, The Dawn Remakes the World in its Antique Pattern:

So
I can't believe I haven't mentioned this yet.
This Fall I got to do something really excellent- collaborate with Von Zos, the talented publisher of artist multiples, on a very special project:
The Way Back
The piece consists of a complex, three-dimensional, free-standing statuary constructed from individual pieces of printed 24 pt cardstock. The piece is precision laser-cut and stands approximately five inches tall by seven inches wide when fully assembled.
The pieces come housed in a custom-made foam enclosure within a box which itself is an extension of the free-standing piece as the box’s exterior artwork echoes the art and themes of the statuary inside.
Additionally, each piece comes with a specially produced wishbone charm.
The Way Back is produced in a limited edition of 20 and is signed and numbered by the artist.

Hey there! This is a little doodle I did while hanging out with the Ayden Gallery crew at Vandussen Gardens with EPIC Sustainability festival.
