These ladies were done up for the Deadly Couture Art Show, which opened last Saturday night. The show is staying up for a couple weeks long at Deadly Couture in Vancouver, BC.
The other day I was walking down Victoria Drive and someone had left some free junk on the sidewalk. There was a needlepoint of folksy looking woman appreciating a tree in a little gold wooden frame. I wanted the frame so I tool it. While I was at work that day a coworker saw me doodling the uge: skulls and glass and thought it looked like this. I thought that was cool so I drew it straight onto the piece of masonite that was in the frame from that morning. It turned out pretty sweet and now you can get it on a shirt if you go here in real life.
